A U.S. senator from Tennessee spent Thursday morning slamming President Joe Biden and his administration for what she believes are weak policies allowing China to gain ground in the war for global dominance.
“The Biden administration wants to let Communist China off the hook on COVID, Taiwan, and Cuba. Their policies will makes [sic] us more dependent on the CCP,” said Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), attaching a video from an appearance on Fox News.

“What you’re seeing is, I think people are finally waking up to the fact that whether it is TikTok as a social media platform, some of these other online retailers, or Huawei ZTE for equipment, that the Chinese Communist Party is embedding spyware and malware, and they are building a surveillance arm of our citizens through these social media platforms and online retailers. That is why we continue to say be very, very careful about TikTok, be very careful about some fo these online retailers. They are collecting your information. They’re even doing it with a digital Yuan. Why are they trying to market this through the Olympics? Because once they’re in your wallet, they are in your wallet.
Blackburn referred to the more than $315,000 in digital Yuan spent at the Beijing Olympics in 2022.
“She continued to lambast the president’s policies in further tweets,” she said. “Communist China wants to build a military training facility and a spy base in Cuba. The CCP knows that in the face of a weak president like Biden, they can act with impunity.”

Wednesday, Blackburn blasted the Biden administration over the Department of Justice’s handling of the criminal charges against the president’s son, Hunter Biden, which include tax fraud and possessing a firearm as a felon.
The younger Biden won’t serve jail time for either crime.
“It’s no coincidence that less than a week after President Trump is arraigned, Hunter Biden is pleading guilty to a sweetheart deal with no jail time. The DOJ is going for the low-hanging fruit by charging Hunter Biden with a gun felony and two tax misdemeanors, after years of slow walking their investigation,” she said, as reported by The Tennessee Star.
“For AG Garland to maintain his mantra that there is one standard of justice is pathetic. If the DOJ thinks this dismisses the $5 million alleged bribery scheme or the years of reported Biden family corruption, they are mistaken. We will not allow full accountability to fall by the wayside,” she said.
